About_
MotionLab was a four-day interdisciplinary workshop I developed and taught at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. It offered students from various creative disciplines a space to reflect on, share, and deepen their own design processes. The aim was to activate creativity through movement, improvisation, and sensory awareness, rather than focusing on final products.
Through guided exercises, body-based meditations, and informal exchange formats, participants explored the role of the body and the senses in creative work. They reflected on their own methods, experimented with alternative forms of notation, and translated abstract ideas into shared physical expressions. While the workshop was conceptually grounded, it followed an artistic and intuitive methodology—offering time, space, and structure for creative process and embodied thinking.
