PerformanceSpace

virtual research space
A prototype for spatially mapping research in a virtual 3D environment
2022
About_
PerformanceSpace is a virtual 3D environment that visualizes my research landscape from 2017 to 2022. Conceived as an interactive and experimental archive, the space is structured around three central research dimensions: space, bodies, and time. Additional spheres, each representing a specific research focus, are arranged along a virtual coordinate system. These thematic spheres can be clicked to access material, reflections, and project documentation.
Originally developed as a prototype, PerformanceSpace was envisioned as a scalable tool for universities offering a shared digital platform where researchers could map, share, and explore each other’s projects spatially. It aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange and provide a dynamic overview of institutional knowledge production.
